Your position in the market is simply ‘what people think about you’. So you already occupy a space in their minds, and probably it could be better. With solid conviction and clear direction, you deserve a position that gives you wings.
After lightning growth, Expedia needed to promote new leaders.
Skills and experience were not enough to crack into the C-Suite. This ‘performance-first’ culture carried a strong ethos. By showcasing their strengths, I coached emerging talent to rise to the challenge.
Nathan supported Expedia’s leadership team helping them improve as great communicators. I find it easy to work with Nathan who has great instincts and tunes in well to the needs of the organisation as well the individual he’s coaching. He comes up with great ideas, he’s proactive and supportive with the right balance of healthy feedback and honesty. He’s helped several senior executives step into leadership roles with gravitas and confidence, allowing them to cement their position at the C-Suite level.
Director of Human Resources
This highly respected, traditional institution is constantly searching for fresh formats.
Their position is complex: to preserve the authority of elitism, while pushing an agenda of innovation. We developed a series of Joint Ventures with industry, to demonstrate this powerful overlap. Bringing in BVLGARI, Generali and other famous Italian companies, we literally placed top academics alongside business pioneers.
An extraordinary fit between business acumen and creativity: this is one of the key strengths of Nathan Lyons.
Professor Paolo Morosetti
Director of Corporate Strategy
I loved mentoring starts ups at the labs programme. With a wide range of companies at various stages of their journey, I learned to quickly spot the most pressing need.
I mentored Younitty, an emerging proptech firm, during a critical moment for them. Having raised initial funding, the world seemed to be their oyster. However, as they left their small local ecosystem to begin trading in the US, a reality check was needed to keep them grounded. We struck a chord that balanced their natural dynamism with a humble tone, to help them build credibility in a crowded US market.
Nathan has a unique talent in identifying and positioning companies’ values.
He helped us to create clear messaging, which was super important to us as an early-stage company. The process was fun and managed professionally. I was inspired by his passion to work with entrepreneurs and I would recommend working with him any day of the week.
